Compiled by City Pop expert DJ Notoya, Tokyo Glow is a carefully curated collection of 1980s Japanese city pop gems drawn from the rich Nippon Columbia catalogue. Released in 2021 by Wewantsounds, the compilation follows the success of their earlier Tokyo Dreaming release and features 18 tracks from artists including Hiroshi Sato, Hitomi "Penny" Tohyama, and Midori Hara.

What makes this release truly special is that many of these funky, breezy tracks are making their vinyl debut outside of Japan, making this an essential pick-up for fans of the genre.
