Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme arrives with a rich and evocative soundtrack that perfectly complements the film’s stylized vision and international ensemble cast. Desplat’s score pays homage to early 20th-century classical traditions, with several cues referencing Stravinsky’s L’Oiseau de feu (The Firebird). The soundtrack also includes standout jazz recordings like “Drum Boogie,” “A String of Pearls,” and the film-exclusive “Mud Bug.”
