This is a new, imported special limited edition 2020 Anniversary Collection blue colored vinyl pressing of The Thelonious Monk Quartet's "Monk's Dream". Originally released by Columbia Records in March 1963 and produced by the legend Teo Macero, the album featured a quartet with Monk on piano, Charlie Rouse on sax, John Ore on bass and Frankie Dunlop on drums. "Monk's Dream is Thelonious Monks' first recording in several years," wrote Teo on the liner notes, "It has special significance here at Columbia Records because it is his first recording for us"
