Arriving in 2026, the album presents eight new compositions that showcase the group's remarkable chemistry, built over more than a decade of collaborative music-making.
Upturned Cup is a joyful and playful exploration that blurs the boundaries between chamber music, jazz improvisation, and folk, showcasing the ensemble's rare ability to move fluidly between these worlds without losing an organic, deeply human warmth. Several of the tracks took root during a creative residency at Antenna Cloud Farm and were shaped through years of live performance, giving the music a lived-in depth that rewards careful listening.
