By 1985, Stevie Ray Vaughan was finally drawing huge crowds and some much deserved positive words from critics. Having played the dives and clubs of his native Texas since the early 1970s, it was his appearance, with backing band Double Trouble, at the 1982 Montreux Jazz Festival that changed his fortunes. The show was broadcast across local FM Radio and this vinyl now features the entire, dynamic set performed by Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble that late summer evening almost 35 years ago.
