A remarkable piece of rock history, Majik Mijits brings together two of Britain's most beloved rock legends — Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane — in a recording that was shelved for nearly two decades. Captured live at the Corbett Drama Theatre in Loughton, Essex in the early 1980s and reportedly financed by Keith Richards, the album was never properly released at the time due to Ronnie Lane's diagnosis with MS, which made touring impossible.
Restored and remastered at PSB Music in London, this 2014 pressing on Wapping Wharf Records marks a welcome return for an album that has been out of print since 2004. Fans of classic British rock will find this collaboration between the former Small Faces bandmates to be an authentic and raw document of two extraordinary talents performing together at a unique moment in time.
