Masseduction finds St. Vincent (Annie Clark) at the height of her creative powers, fusing bold rock hooks with emotionally charged songwriting. Produced in collaboration with Jack Antonoff and featuring contributions from celebrated producers like Sounwave, this 2017 album pushes her sound into daring new territory, balancing synth-driven intensity with confessional lyricism.
This deluxe release invites listeners to experience the album’s raw power and nuance, with production that highlights every detail—from the subtle textures of Electric Lady Studios to the striking clarity of Clark’s vocals. Thematically exploring power, pleasure, and heartbreak, Masseduction stands out as one of the decade’s most compelling and innovative rock albums.
