Originally surfacing in the late '80s, Soul Asylum’s Clam Dip & Other Delights captures the band’s raw Minneapolis rock energy and sense of humor, famously parodying the iconic Herb Alpert album cover. Unapologetically loud and loaded with punchy hooks, this EP is an essential piece of Soul Asylum’s early discography, reflecting the spirit that would later bring them national acclaim.
This expanded 2018 release gathers the complete UK and US versions of the iconic EP, along with previously unissued bonus tracks, offering fans a comprehensive look at the band’s formative years on Twin/Tone Records. Featuring tracks mastered from sessions at Creation, Metro, and Paisley Park Studios, Clam Dip & Other Delights stands as a testament to Soul Asylum's enduring influence in '80s rock.
