The Art Of Falling Apart is Soft Cell's influential second album, showcasing the synth-driven sound that propelled them to the top of the UK charts in the early '80s. With Marc Almond’s haunting vocals and David Ball’s distinctive electronic arrangements, the album captures the band’s darkly melodic take on pop, featuring standout singles like "Where the Heart Is" and the double A-sided "Numbers" / "Barriers."

This special edition includes the original album and a bonus 12" single, just as with initial pressings, featuring the epic track "Martin" inspired by the George Romero film. Also included is the audacious and much-discussed "Hendrix Medley," a ten-minute synth interpretation that highlights Soft Cell's playful defiance of genre expectations and remains a favorite among devoted fans.
