Neo is the intense debut album from Seattle's So Pitted, released on Sub Pop in 2016. Channeling a raw, kinetic energy, the band fuses sludgy instrumentals with noise-rock urgency, crafting a sound that feels both relentless and jaggedly atmospheric. Tracks like "the sickness" and "holding the void" showcase their ability to layer noise and melody in unpredictable, thrilling ways.

This release stands out for its unfiltered take on post-hardcore and alt-rock, shifting seamlessly from gnarly riffs to experimental bursts of sound. With nods to '90s alternative and a streak of hallucinogenic chaos, Neo captures So Pitted's uncompromising spirit, making it a unique statement for fans of adventurous, boundary-pushing rock music.
