Released in 2006, She Wants Revenge is the debut album from the Los Angeles duo She Wants Revenge, featuring the vocals and songwriting of Justin Warfield alongside Adam Bravin's production work. The record arrived during a wave of post-punk revival energy and quickly carved out its own dark, brooding niche within the electronic rock landscape.
The album blends cold, synth-driven atmospheres with guitar-driven tension and deadpan vocals, drawing comparisons to acts like Joy Division and Interpol while maintaining a distinctly modern edge. Themes of desire, obsession, and emotional unease run throughout, giving the record a moody cohesion that resonated strongly with fans of gothic rock and darkwave-influenced sounds.
