After a remarkable fifteen-year hiatus, Seefeel return with Sol.Hz, a long-awaited new chapter from the shape-shifting UK electronic outfit released on Warp Records. Billed as their dub album, it delivers some of the heaviest, most rhythmically focused grooves the group has produced, channeling deep lurching currents through intricate chains of dub delay.
What makes Sol.Hz so compelling is how it balances Seefeel's signature textural approach with a newfound rhythmic weight. Sarah Peacock's heavily manipulated vocals provide a vital human element amid processed guitar loops and drifting slivers of melody, while tracks range from minimal alien soundscapes to glitchy, synth-driven explorations — classic Seefeel in spirit, yet pushing boldly into new territory.
