Opening with Billy Strayhorn's "Lush Life," Vaughan weaves her way through the set, which showcases her at her best. Rodgers & Hart's "My Romance" is a notable performance, and the raw emotion in "I'm Afraid the Masquerade Is Over" is palpable. Verve Acoustic Sounds Series features transfers from analog tapes and remastered on 180g vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.
