Formed in 1977 by brothers Kim Chang-wan, Kim Chang-hoon, and Kim Chang-ik, Sanullim are considered pioneers of Korean psychedelic rock. Evening Breeze is the first ever compilation focused on their lesser-known 1979–1983 albums, bringing together their most fuzzed-out, hard-psych-pop-funk tracks in one place for the first time.
Curated by Antoni Gorgues of Guerssen, Evening Breeze captures a deeply moody yet focused period of the band's catalog — all the fuzz, freak, and messed-up energy they were known for, but with a sharpened, tuneful edge. Presented as a 2LP gatefold with artwork by Spanish illustrator Mario Feal and liner notes by Hugh Dellar of Shindig!, this 2024 release is a beautifully packaged introduction to one of Korea's most vital and underappreciated rock acts.
