Dream Fatigue is the sixth studio album from Rex Orange County, released in 2026 on AWAL Recordings. After years of handling nearly every role in the studio himself, he opens the door to a circle of collaborators here, including Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Turnstile's Brendan Yates, Dev Hynes, and Taylor Skye of Jockstrap.
The album pairs the warm, melodic pop sensibility that made Rex Orange County a favorite with a more shared, communal approach to songwriting. Its love songs, shaped by images of costumes and stages, come across as tender, curious, and precise. It's an inviting listen for longtime fans and newcomers who like their pop heartfelt and rooted in the alternative.
