Donkey Punch The Night E.P. is a release from Puscifer, the experimental project led by Maynard James Keenan, best known as the frontman of Tool and A Perfect Circle. The EP follows the 2011 album Conditions of My Parole and serves as a companion to it in the band's catalog, showing the group's willingness to experiment.
The music blends alternative rock with electronic textures, moving between moody atmosphere and playful, left-of-center experimentation. The EP pairs new original material with reinterpretations, so it feels like a looser and more adventurous side of Puscifer. It rewards repeat listens, especially for fans who enjoy Keenan's distinctive vocals and unconventional approach.
