A Woman A Man Walked By finds PJ Harvey and John Parish reuniting for their second collaborative album, merging Harvey's evocative vocals with Parish's inventive instrumentation. The duo crafts a unique blend of rock, folk, and blues influences, marked by moments of poetic lyricism and unorthodox melodies that showcase their adventurous spirit.
This Island Records release reveals Harvey pushing her vocal boundaries over Parish's dynamic arrangements, with mood and drama shifting dramatically from track to track. Featuring lyrics inspired by literary figures and both artists sharing songwriting duties, A Woman A Man Walked By stands as a bold, imaginative statement from two of alternative rock's most celebrated collaborators.
