Perturbator's Night Driving Avenger is a landmark release from French synthwave producer James Kent, originally released in 2012 and pressed to vinyl in 2017. The EP helped establish Perturbator as a defining voice in the darksynth and retrowave scene, drawing on the neon-drenched aesthetic of 1980s cinema and early video game culture.

The record features five tracks that span a range of synth textures and tempos, including "Electric Dreams," the brooding title track, and a chiptune cover of "I Ran" by A Flock of Seagulls.
