Hailing from the vibrant Minneapolis music scene, Partial Traces is a rock band whose members have deep roots in some of the city's most celebrated punk outfits, including The Soviettes, Dear Landlord, and Banner Pilot. Their debut album, Glass Beach, released in 2017 on Salinas Records, channels that punk pedigree while pushing beyond its boundaries, giving each song room to breathe and evolve.
Recorded at the Terrarium in Minneapolis and engineered by Jacques Wait, Glass Beach is an 11-track debut that showcases the band's ability to honor the spirit of punk while exploring a broader, more expansive sonic palette. For fans of the Minneapolis punk and rock scene, this record represents a compelling first statement from a group of seasoned musicians finding their own distinct voice.
