Inspired by Henri Charrière's legendary Papillon books, this 2020 release marks Cardoso's long-awaited return to vinyl following his debut Papillon album in 2013 and a series of cassette releases in the years between.
Banco ventures deep into what can only be described as "tropical disquiet," weaving together six tracks of richly atmospheric electronic and experimental textures, including a collaboration with guitarist Mike Cooper.
