Outlaw Country: Live From Austin, TX is a remarkable 2006 live compilation that brings together some of the most iconic voices in American country music. Recorded in the heart of Texas, the album features a legendary gathering of artists including Billy Joe Shaver, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, delivering an authentic celebration of the outlaw country tradition.
What makes this album truly special is the raw, intimate energy that comes from these storied performers sharing the stage and playing in the round, a format that strips the music down to its purest form. The result is a deeply authentic document of outlaw country's spirit — honest, unpolished, and deeply rooted in the storytelling and free-spirited ethos that defined the genre's golden era.
