Obits were a Brooklyn-based post-punk outfit known for their raw, guitar-driven sound and effortless blend of rock, blues, and alternative influences. L.E.G.I.T. is a compilation that gathers the band's 7" singles and various compilation tracks into one cohesive collection, originally released in Japan in 2014 to coincide with their Asia tour before receiving a wider release in 2018.
