Now It's Overhead is the self-titled debut album from the Athens, Georgia band of the same name, released in 2001. A landmark moment in indie music history, it holds the distinction of being Saddle Creek Records' first full-length release from a band outside of Nebraska. The project was built around the vision of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andy LeMaster, who wrote and performed the bulk of the material.

The album showcases a beautifully atmospheric and introspective sound, blending delicate songwriting with dreamy, layered textures. LeMaster is joined by Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor — the duo behind Azure Ray — lending the record an ethereal, collaborative warmth that sets it apart. For fans of thoughtful, melodic indie rock with emotional depth, this debut remains a quietly essential listen.
