Before punk rock had a name, its name was the New York Dolls. Captured live for a radio broadcast at Radio Luxembourg in Paris, December 1973, Live At Radio Luxembourg, Paris - Dec. 1973 showcases the Dolls at the height of their raw, unfiltered energy, complete with charismatic stage banter and infamous attempts at French accents.
This album offers a front-row experience to one of the best existing live recordings of the Dolls in their prime, featuring electrifying performances of their early classics alongside fiery covers of Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, and the Shangri-Las. With crisp sound quality and all the attitude, chaos, and humor that defined the band, this release is essential listening for any rock enthusiast or New York Dolls fan.
