Motorhead: Lemmy Kilmister (vocals, bass); Phil Campbell (guitar); Mikkey Dee (drums).
Recorded live in Hamburg, Germany in 1998.
Twenty-two years after the release of Motorhead's self-titled debut came the group's umpteenth live set, 1999's appropriately titled double disc EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. While leader/bassist Lemmy is the lone remaining original member, the band (whose line-up includes guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee) still churns out a mean and thunderous racket.
Recorded a year earlier in Hamburg, Germany, the trio unleashes rabid versions of such Motorhead classics as "Iron Fist," "Metropolis," "I'm So Bad (Baby I Don't Care)," "Orgasmatron," "Killed By Death," "Overkill," and of course, "Ace of Spades." Although 1981's NO SLEEP 'TIL HAMMERSMITH remains Motorhead and heavy metal's definitive live album, EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYONE ELSE runs it a close second.
