Miles Davis's groundbreaking 1970 masterpiece Bitches Brew marked a radical departure from his cool jazz roots, diving deep into experimental jazz fusion territory with electric instruments, psychedelic soundscapes, and abrasive textures. This pioneering album features Davis at his most aggressive and explosive, with fast runs and upper-register trumpet work that completely abandons his previous melodic approach in favor of avant-garde exploration.
This limited edition Rough Trade exclusive pressing in stunning blue marble vinyl captures the album's revolutionary sound in collectible format. With epic compositions like the title track featuring heavy Echoplex effects, funky grooves, and massive rock sections filled with dense instrumental interplay, Bitches Brew remains one of the most important and influential albums in jazz fusion history.
