Daydream is Mariah Carey's 1995 breakthrough, a multi-platinum album that cemented her as one of pop's defining voices. It features the smash hits "Fantasy," "Always Be My Baby," and "One Sweet Day," songs that remain staples of 1990s pop and R&B.
The album blends silky soul, pop hooks, and hip-hop-inflected grooves, with Carey's wide-ranging vocals at the center of every track. Its themes of romance, longing, and heartfelt farewell show her gift for pairing emotional depth with irresistible melodies.
