Producer, DJ, pianist and activist LP Giobbi shares Dotr, her highly anticipated full-length sophomore album, due out 18th October 2024 on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records. Dotr will be available on solid white 2LP.
The album is a huge step up for LP and features some of the biggest names of today including Portugal. The Man, Brittany Howard (on a reinterpretation of Alabama Shakes’ “Don’t Wanna Fight”), Jacob Banks, Danielle Ponder, Panama, and Mascolo. Dotr see’s LP celebrate the joys of collaboration, improvisation and creating music through friendship - paying homage to the people and music that shaped her as an artist.
The Austin-based piano house queen has quickly been rising as a superstar in the industry earning over 340M streams across platforms and hotly tipped as Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador, Spotify RADAR’s Artist to Watch, Amazon’s Artists to Watch.
LP Giobbi has played her live keyboard and drums infused sets to thousands of fans across the globe, performing on the stages of Coachella, EDC, Firefly, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and ACL. LP has also been recently tapped to remix Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris.
LP will be embarking on 25+ date headline tour across the United States starting this fall to celebrate the album release. The tour includes stops at The Fonda Theatre in LA, Fox Theater in Oakland, and Great Hall in Brooklyn.
LP Giobbi is the founder of FEMME HOUSE, a non-profit educational platform that seeks to create equitable opportunities for women and other marginalized gender expressions in the technical areas of music creation with over 25k community members.
