Bobby Tarantino is a mixtape from Maryland rapper Logic, released in 2016 through Def Jam Recordings. It marked a deliberate shift in tone for the artist, embracing a looser, more carefree alter ego in contrast to the ambitious, concept-driven projects he was known for. The project peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart and cracked the top 15 on the Billboard 200, signaling strong commercial momentum for Logic at the height of his rise.
Where Logic's studio albums tend to carry weighty themes and cinematic scope, Bobby Tarantino strips things back in favor of energetic, confident hip-hop built for replay value. Tracks like "Flexicution" showcase a bolder, more braggadocious side of Logic, demonstrating his versatility as an MC. It's a fun, genre-spanning listen that highlights his technical skill and willingness to step outside his usual comfort zone.
