Lizzy Hale and her band Halestorm sought to remedy the situation with a muscular, metal and grunge-influenced update of Heart and Pat Benatar. The group's self-titled major label full-length debut puts Hale's aggressive, full-throated vocals and sexually charged lyrics front and center, backing them with stomping drums and raging guitars.
