Girlschool's second album, 1981's Hit and Run, didn't have as many standout cuts as their debut but it lost little in the way of intensity and raw aggression. The intro riff to "C'Mon Let's Go" sounds like an engine revving up and drummer Denise Dufort pounds the band into gear, reaching full throttle on "(I'm Your) Victim." The title track features a catchy chorus, and "Watch Your Step" is another blast of pure energy that proved these gals could play as rough as the boys any day. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
