French multi-instrumentalist and producer Vincent Fenton, known as FKJ, delivers Tyber through his own independent label, Tyber Heart — a deeply personal statement that showcases his artistic vision on his own terms. The album weaves together electronic music, jazz, funk, soul, and rhythm and blues into a cohesive sonic world that feels both intimately crafted and expansively alive.
At the heart of Tyber is FKJ's signature balance of meticulous studio production and organic, improvisational warmth, built around warm synths, electric piano, saxophone, and layered vocals. The record features a cast of collaborators including Baby Rose, Bas, Eryn Allen Kane, and Lucy Park, each adding their voice to a collection that moves fluidly between laid-back grooves and emotionally dynamic passages — a testament to FKJ's gift for blending genres without losing the soul at the center.
