Album Of The Year finds Faith No More at their creative peak, fusing powerful rock energy with genre-defying experimentation and haunting melodies. Originally released in 1997, this critically acclaimed album showcases the band’s signature eclecticism—ranging from the dark, synth-driven opener "Collision" to electrifying anthems like "Stripsearch" and "Ashes To Ashes." With its bold sonic palette and raw emotional depth, it remains a standout in the band’s celebrated catalog.
This 2016 remaster on Rhino Records reinvigorates Album Of The Year with enhanced clarity, specially remastered at Abbey Road Studios. Featuring new liner notes by Roddy Bottum, rare tracks, and live versions, this edition is a must-have for fans seeking to experience the album’s intense atmosphere and nuanced musicianship in stunning detail.
