Dub Syndicate, the influential On-U Sound collective led by Style Scott, crafted one of their most celebrated works with Ital Breakfast. Originally released in 1996 and recorded between Leggo Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica and On-U Sound in London, the album blends deep roots reggae with the hypnotic, bass-heavy textures that defined the On-U Sound label.
Out of print on vinyl for many years, this 2025 edition has been re-cut by Frank Merritt at The Carvery and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, making it a welcome return for fans of the album. It also includes an inner sleeve featuring rare photography by Coneyl Jay and new liner notes by Rob Harris of Test Pressing, adding fresh context to this classic recording.
