Famous Friends is the eighth studio album from country artist Chris Young, released in August 2021 on RCA Records Nashville. Preceded by the singles "Raised on Country," "Drowning," and the title track, it finds Young co-writing and co-producing a collection that feels both polished and personal.
True to its title, the album brings in some of Young's well-known friends, including a duet with Lauren Alaina on "Town Ain't Big Enough" and a collaboration with Mitchell Tenpenny on "At the End of a Bar." Across the record, Young's rich baritone and mature songcraft take center stage, and the quiet weight of the times in which it was made gives the music a thoughtful undercurrent.
