Aeterna Memoria is the 2026 release from Briar, arriving on You've Changed Records. It sits comfortably between indie rock and pop, with Daniel Romano credited alongside Briar on the tracks. The record runs through eleven songs, most of them compact and economical, opening with the title track "Aeterna Memoria (Rosae Crucis)."
The album's themes are spiritual and reflective. It leans on the idea that polarities are not opposites but a unified field, moving from separation to union and from ego to soul. Its motto, "Per aspera ad astra" ("Through hardship to the stars"), suggests a record about perseverance and transformation, set to songs like "Between the Air and Sky," "Blood and Sugar," and "Will o' the Wisp."
