Description
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Made of Bricks is the debut studio album by singer-songwriter Kate Nash, released in August 2007 by Fiction Records, Cherrytree Records, and the Universal Music Group. The album was a commercial success, topping the UK Albums Chart and spawning a #2 hit in the form of the lead single “Foundations”. Kate Nash’s most popular songs are both intimate and confrontational, using brief portraits and slang conversational vocals to illustrate the larger issues going on. Throughout late 2007 and early 2008, Nash released three more singles from Made of Bricks. “Mouthwash” and “Pumpkin Soup” both made the Top 40 in the UK Singles Chart. Although her fifth single “Merry Happy” didn’t chart well in the UK, the song enjoyed some success in other countries, including the United States and Canada.
