The group's long-form, free-improvisation approach places them alongside the adventurous electronic and experimental music of the era, and the album is often compared to the extended works of German cosmic music pioneers.

The music unfolds in slow, immersive stretches, blending electric strings, drones, voices, and electronics into shifting textures that lean toward the meditative. Rather than relying on conventional song structures, the Travellers let sound evolve patiently, rewarding listeners who enjoy deep, atmospheric exploration. It is a striking document of Japan's underground avant-garde, where jazz-inflected improvisation meets electronic experimentation.

Handling Time Note: ** Please allow an additional 4-5 business days for this item's shipment. **

Format: Vinyl

Label: Aguirre Records

Genre: Electronic, Jazz

Release Date: 05/16/2018

Remember, for our lowest prices, always order directly from Joco Records!

TRACKS

A. 1
B. 2
C. 3
D. 4

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0567/3284/4187/files/taj-mahal-travellers-august-1974-2-lp-1536078.jpg?v=1791921734
