The group blends traditional folk and world music influences with cutting-edge electronic production. The result is one of the most distinctive and influential film scores to come out of Japan.

The music pairs chanting voices, Balinese gamelan, and Japanese festival-style percussion with synthesizers and early digital sampling. It sounds both ancient and futuristic, which suits the film's story of Neo-Tokyo. Tracks such as "Battle Against the Clown," "Winds Over Neo-Tokyo," and "Tetsuo" show the range of Yamashiro's vision, from raw ritual intensity to eerie, atmospheric tension.

Handling Time Note: ** Please allow an additional 4-5 business days for this item's shipment. **

Format: Vinyl

Label: Victory (4)

Genre: Electronic, Folk, World, & Country, Stage & Screen

Release Date: 11/22/2024

Remember, for our lowest prices, always order directly from Joco Records!

TRACKS

A1.
